Since the last update I've been working to contact OEM manufacturers regarding licensing agreements. A lot of brainpower has also gone into how to pay for Gearhead Wiki. As you see there are now Adsense ads on the sidebar and footer. These are more of a test than anything to see what levels of income they bring in. Everyone knows ads are annoying but I have tried to do it in the most tasteful way possible without pop ups or ads that get in your way at all. I won't turn Gearhead into one of those shady car sites that ask for donations every click or redirect you through 5 pages of ads to get the information you want. My philosophy is that I help build the best car information site on the web without those annoying monetization tactics or I don't build it at all. So we are now over 10,00 pages!! We also have over 100,000 uploaded images making Gearhead Wiki the largest automotive wiki on the web! There are a lot of backend things going on making sure everything is working perfectly from a server standpoint. Next on the list is a homepage revamp which will be out in the next few days making it easier for people to get started and understand the [[Gearhead_Wiki:Mission|Gearhead Wiki mission]].
